No Bounce & Overdraft Line of Credit

No Bounce

No Bounce allows us to pay a check, even if it causes the account to become overdrawn. This service provides you with an added layer of safety should you accidentally write checks for more than you have in your account, or an inadvertent error causes the account to become overdrawn. No Bounce eliminates the fees and embarrassment of returned checks. If funds are not available in your account, we will first make an attempt to transfer the funds from an overdraft loan or transfer from savings. If these options are not available, we may, as a courtesy, approve clearing the item. No Bounce is subject to approval, and it requires no member action. It is not a loan (no interest will be charged to your account), and no additional agreements need to be signed. There is a $25.00 NSF fee for each No Bounce occurrence. You will receive a notice when items are cleared through the No Bounce program, and it is your responsibility to bring your account back to a positive balance right away.

Overdraft Line of Credit

Everyone makes mistakes from time-to-time with a checking account. Or, sometimes you need extra cash to pay a bill just a few days before payday. Either way, Advantage One’s Overdraft Protection line-of-credit* protects you from the fees and embarrassment of bouncing a check. When your overdraft limit is approved, we’ll transfer funds from your overdraft line-of-credit into your checking account in increments of $50.00 to cover the check. You then have the option of making payments on your overdraft line-of-credit, or pay off the balance in full. You can also make arrangements to transfer funds from your savings account to cover an overdraft.

* Overdraft line-of-credit is subject to approval.
